Vladimir Archipov

Vladimir Archipov was born in Ryazan, Russia, and is an author, artist and engineer. After studying radio technology he worked in the aviation and construction industries. He has been active as an artist since 1990. Archipov has set up the databank “Museum of Other Things”, which collects the stories behind self-made objects for everyday use from all over the world (at otherthings-museum.com). His book “Home-Made: Contemporary Folk Artifacts” (FUEL Publishing) comes out in a new edition in 2022. Archipov lives in Moscow.
