Stella Gaitano was born in Khartoum in 1979 and later moved to South Sudan. Today, she lives in Kamen on a Writers-in-Exile scholarship from PEN Germany. Her debut novel, “Edo's Souls”, was published in 2018 (Dedalus, Cambridgeshire)
