Stefan Höhne

Stefan Höhne, born in 1979 in Bad Langensalza, is a historian and cultural scientist. He researches at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) in Essen on everyday cultures of modernity and on the history and theory of cities and technology. An extended translation of his dissertation will be published in 2021 under the title "Riding the New York Subway - The Invention of the Urban Passenger", published by MIT Press. He lives in Berlin.
