Nick Hannes

Nick Hannes, born in Antwerp in 1974, is a photographer who lives in Ranst in Belgium. He studied photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent and then worked as a photojournalist. Since 2006 he has concentrated on his own documentary projects, which have political and social aspects. The picture was taken during a trip for his book “Mediterranean. The Continuity of Man”. (Cannibal/Hannibal Publishers, Veurne 2015).
