Naika Foroutan

Naika Foroutan was born in 1971. She is a professor of integration research and social policy at Humboldt University in Berlin and director of the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research. Since 2011, she has headed up the Young Islam-Related Issues in Germany research group as part of the Young Islam Conference project. In 2011, she received the Berlin Integration Award for her contributions to the national “Sarrazin debate”. Her book “Die postmigrantische Gesellschaft” was published by Verlag, Bielefeld in 2019.
