Luis Fernández-Carril

Luis Fernández-Carril, born 1983 in Mexico City, lectures philosophy at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and at Universidad de las Américas. His research focuses on climate ethics. From 2015 to 2017 he was chief of staff for the special commission on climate change of the Mexican Senate.

Today, Fernández-Carril is the lead author of the upcoming IPCC evaluative report, which Mexico will transmit to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). He lives in Mexico City.
