Fatin Abbas

Fatin Abbas is a writer and journalist. She was born in Khartoum, Sudan. She has won the Bernard Cohen Short Story Prize and the Miriam Weinberg Richter Award for her writing. As Visiting Assistant Professor, she teaches writing at Pratt Institute, New York. Her work has appeared in Le Monde Diplomatique, The Nation and Die Zeit, among others.
