Bartosz Staszewski

Bartosz Staszewski, born in 1990 in Malmö, Sweden, grew up in Lublin, Poland. He is an LGBT activist and documentary film director. In 2017, he produced the film “Article 18”, which is considered the most important film to date about the struggle for equal rights for LGBT people in Poland. Staszewski founded the Lublin Equality March Association. He was awarded the European “Tolerantia” prize in 2019 for his activist work and was elected as an “Obama Leader” in 2020. Staszewski lives in Warsaw.
