Adrienne Yabouza

Adrienne Yabouza, born 1965 in Bimbo, Central African Republic, has made her name as an author of novels and youth literature in Bangui. “Comme des Oiseaux” (Biblioquet, 2015) and “Bangui... allowi” (Oslo Editions, 2009) are among her most acclaimed publications. In 2014 Yabouza fled to the Republic of Congo amid political turmoil in her home country. She requested political refuge in France and today lives in Rennes.
