Timothy Morton

Timothy Morton, born 1968, is professor for English literature at Rice University in Houston, Texas. His thinking is especially inspired by his research on the English Romantic at Cambridge University, on ecology and on the recent philosophical school of object-oriented ontology. He works with international artists like Björk, Olafur Elíasson and Pharrell Williams. His latest publication is a Book titled “Being Ecological” (penguin, UK, 2018). Morton also appeared alongside Jeff Bridges in the environmental film “Living in the Future’s Past” which he also contributed to as a writer. He regularly updates his blog ecologywithoutnature.blogspot.com and tweets as @the_eco_thought.
