Philippe Pujol

Philippe Pujol, born in 1975, is a journalist, writer and director. He has won multiple awards for his reporting in the local newspaper, La Marseillaise, including, among others, the Albert Londres Prize. He received his education at École de Journalisme et de Communication d’Aix-Marseille. Since September 2016 he has been writing for the Swiss publication Sept.Info. In his novel “La Fabrique du Monstre” (“The Creation of a Monster”) (Les Arènes, Paris, 2015) social antagonisms collide against the backdrop of the city of Marseille. This publication lead to him being part of the writers room for the second season of the Netflix TV Series “Marseille”. Pujol lives and works in his hometown Marseille.
