Paul Collier

Paul Collier, geboren 1949, ist Professor für Ökonomie und Direktor des Centre for the Study of African Economies an der Universität Oxford. Von 1998 bis 2003 war er Leiter der Forschungsabteilung der Weltbank. 2008 erschien sein vielfach ausgezeichnetes Buch "Die unterste Milliarde" (C.H. Beck, München). Im Mai 2011 wird "Der hungrige Planet. Wie können wir Wohlstand mehren, ohne die Erde auszuplündern" auf Deutsch veröffentlicht (Siedler Verlag, München).
