Marie NDiaye

Marie NDiaye, born 1967 in Pithiviers near Orléans, is a writer and dramatist with senegalese roots. She published her first novel aged 17. Further books and plays followed. She won the prestigious literary prize, the Prix Goncourt, for her novel “Three Strong Women” (Paw Prints, 2016). Until 2017 NDiaye lived in Berlin with her family but she then returned to France and now lives in Langon.
