Kudzanai Chiurai

Kudzanai Chiurai, born 1981 in Harare, Zimbabwe, was the first black artist to graduate from the University of Pretoria with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. His multimedia works are exhibited worldwide, among others in the South African pavilion at the 56th Biennale in Venice and the MOMA in New York. Recently his objects have been shown at ifa-gallery in Stuttgart. Chiurai lives in Harare.
