Jonas Eliasson

Jonas Eliasson, born in Västerås, Sweden, is a traffic expert and a professor of transport at the University of Linköping. He advises municipal and local governments and national governments on transport issues and, from 2016 to 2019, was in charge of the Stockholm Transport Authority. There he was responsible in 2006 for the introduction of the city toll for cars, which was later also taken over by Gothenburg. Eliasson lives in Stockholm.
