Johny Pitts

Johny Pitts, born in Sheffield, is an author, photographer and journalist. He received many awards for his commitment to an "Afropean" identity, including from the European Network Against Racism. In 2020, he received the Jhalak Prize for Book of the Year by a Writer of Colour for his book "Afropean – Notes from Black Europe" (Allen Lane, 2019). Pitts curates the website www.afropean.com.
