Hajar Waheed

Hajar Waheed was born in 1983 in the Maldivian capital Malé and is a freelance journalist. After studying economics at the University of Melbourne, she returned to the Maldives. Waheed focuses on the social dimensions of Islamic radicalisation in small island communities and she lives in Malé.
