Cristina Morales

Cristina Morales, born in 1985 in Granada, is a writer, dancer and choreographer. Her most recent novel “Lectura fácil” has been awarded the Herralde-Novel Prize in 2018 and the Spanish National Narrative prize in 2019. Asa playwright she has written for the National Theatre of Catalonia and the Teatro del Barrio (Madrid) among others. She has a degree in law and political science, is member of the contemporary Dance Company Iniciativa Sexual Femenina and the producer for the punk band At-Asko. Morales lives in Barcelona.
