Ayat Najafi

Ayat Najafi, born 1976 in Tehran, studied scenic writing. He works as a theatre and film director. His documentary film "Football Under Cover" was awarded the Teddy Award for the best documentary film at the Berlinale in 2008. His theatre productions "Lady Teheran" and "Rascht - City of Women" premiered in Berlin in 2009 and 2011. Najafi lives in Berlin and Tehran.
