Anne Applebaum

Anne Applebaum, born in 1964 in Washington, D.C., is an American-Polish journalist and historian. She has been writing for “The Atlantic” since 2019. She has received several awards for her work on Eastern European history. In 2024, she received the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade.
