Zauresh Alimbetova

Ecologist Zauresh Alimbetova (born in 1966, Aralsk, Kazakhstan) headed up Kazakhstan's Barsakelmes Nature Reserve until February 2022 and is now deputy director of the International Fund to Save the Aral Sea. Alimbetova lives in Aralsk.
