David H. Ucko leads the War & Conflict Department and the Terrorism & Irregular Warfare Program at the College of International Security Affairs at the National Defense University in Washington D.C. He is the author of “Counterinsurgency in Crisis: Britain and the Challenges of Modern Warfare” (Columbia University Press, New York, 2013) and “The New Counterinsurgency Era: Transforming the U.S. Military for Modern Wars« (Georgetown University Press, Washington D.C., 2009)”
