Amira El Ahl is a freelance writer and presenter. She has reported on events in the Middle East for Die Welt, Deutsche Welle, Qantara.de and GEO, among others. In 2011, she did numerous moderations for the Goethe-Institut, GIZ, DAAD and the House of World Cultures. El Ahl lives in Kassel.
