Marko Martin

Marko Martin, born in 1970 in Burgstädt, Germany, is an author and publicist. In May 1989 Martin migrated from East to West Germany because of a politically reasoned university ban and his status as a conscientious objector. In Berlin he studied German and Political studies, as well as History at the Technische Universität and Freie Universität Berlin. After years of living in Paris, Marko Martin currently lives in Berlin. His latest books are „Das Haus in Habana. Ein Rapport“ (Wehrhahn Verlag, Hannover 2019) and „Dissidentisches Denken“ (Die Andere Bibliothek, Berlin, 2019).
