Federica Mogherini


Federica Mogherini, born in Rome in 1973, is a politician and was the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy from 2014 to 2019. She was previously Foreign Minister in the cabinet of former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. In 2019, Mogherini received the Theodor Wanner Prize of the Institute for Foreign Relations for her commitment to peace and understanding.
