Tao Porchon-Lynch

Tao Porchon-Lynch, born 1918, is a yoga teacher. Her mother was Indian and her father was French and she grew up in India. After an international career as a model and actress, she founded the Westchester Institute of Yoga in the USA in 1982. She studied with the yoga masters Indra Devi, B.K.S. Iyengar and Aurobindo. Porchon-Lynch is the author of several books on meditation. She lives in White Plains, New York.
