Marcelo Vallejo

Marcelo Vallejo was 19 years old and about to do compulsory military service when he joined the army in 1982, so he could fight in the Falkland War. Together with 18 comrades and two grenade launchers, he held his position on Mount William, about seven kilometres from Stanley, the capital of the Falkland Islands, until the very end of the fighting in June 1982. Today he tours the world with the theatre play, Campo Minado/Minefield, together with other Argentinean and British veterans of the conflict.
