Jagoda Marinic, born 1977 in Waiblingen, Germany, is an author. She writes books and columns for German newspapers including the taz, the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Deutsche Welle. She comments on current events, including women's rights, integration, transatlantic relations or democracy. She also writes shorter, more provocative theses on Twitter: @jagodamarinic. Donald Trump doesn't follow her yet but Barack Obama does. Her most recent publication is "SHEROES - The country needs new heroes", published in German in 2019. Marinic lives in Heidelberg.
