Is today’s journalism too emotional?

This is also because journalism is being squeezed financially. Editors are extremely nervous. That's why they're running after social media - and everything that promises to grab people's attention.

This trend can best be observed on talk shows: They are no longer about real debates, but are pure entertainment. The drama creates the illusion that they are about something important.

The content, however, falls by the wayside.
