Guilt (Issue II/2019)


Speeches in the Canadian Parliament, held in indigenous languages, will be simultaneously translated in the future, parliament decided. This will increase the chance that speeches can even be held in languages like Cree. Colonialisation has almost wiped out Indian languages. At present, more parliamentarians than ever before have indigenous roots, some three percent of the lower house.
