Politicians often make decisions that are led by interests and that have little orientation toward the future. Yet climate change is an existential threat to the whole world. We should speak and deal with this clearly. We need a Green New Deal - the kind that the US Democratic party has proposed – in Europe too. For example, it is grotesque that you can fly from Berlin to Munich for 30 euros!
