No more donkey exports

The Botswanan government has forbidden the export of donkey meat or skin. The decision is a reaction to the increase in donkey butchery in the country, as a result of growing Chinese demand for donkey products. In that country, donkey meat is seen as a nutritious alternative to beef and gelatine made from donkey hooves is considered an aphrodisiac and anti-aging treatment.
